President Al-Alimi Praises Jordan’s Facilitation for Yemeni Residents and Visitors

President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, met with Mr. Ayman Safadi, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, at his residence in Munich, Germany.

During the meeting, the Jordanian Foreign Minister conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of Jordan to President Al-Alimi, along with his wishes for the President’s health and happiness and for stability, peace, and development in Yemen.

For his part, President Al-Alimi entrusted Minister Al Safadi to convey his greetings and those of the Council members to the Jordanian leadership, wishing them good health and well-being, and expressing his best wishes for progress and prosperity to the Jordanian people.

The meeting discussed the latest local and regional developments, exchanged views, and coordinated positions on issues of mutual concern. It also explored avenues for strengthening bilateral cooperation across various sectors.

President Al-Alimi expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to Jordan, its King, government, and people for their honorable and supportive stance alongside the Yemeni people and their legitimate leadership in their efforts to restore state institutions, security, stability, and peace.

He also commended Jordan for its facilitation of services for Yemeni residents and visitors, expressing confidence that bilateral relations would continue to grow and flourish in all areas.

Additionally, the meeting reaffirmed Yemen and Jordan’s steadfast positions in support of the Palestinian people’s struggle and their right to establish an independent, fully sovereign state in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi, Director of the Presidency Office, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Mukhlafi, Economic Advisor to the President, and Mr. Lu’ai Al-Iryani, Yemen’s Ambassador to Germany.
