
President Al- Alimi and Kuwaiti Prime Minister Discuss Promising Areas of Cooperation

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, met in Munich, Germany, with His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the brotherly State of Kuwait, on the sidelines of the 61st International Security Conference, which commenced today.
During the meeting, the Kuwaiti Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, to President Al-Alimi, wishing him good health and happiness, and expressing hopes for stability, peace, and development for the Yemeni people.
In return, President Al-Alimi entrusted the Kuwaiti Prime Minister with conveying his and the Council members' greetings to the Kuwaiti leadership, wishing them good health and expressing hopes for continued progress and prosperity for the brotherly Kuwaiti people.
The discussions covered recent developments in local and regional situations, as well as the exchange of views and coordination on issues of mutual interest.
The meeting also focused on aspects of bilateral cooperation, prioritizing Kuwaiti economic and developmental support, humanitarian services, relief interventions, and urgent governmental needs across various sectors.
On behalf of himself, the Council members, and the government, President Al-Alimi reiterated his profound gratitude and appreciation to the State of Kuwait, led by his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. He also expressed his thanks to the Kuwaiti government and people for their fraternal support and facilities provided to the Yemeni government and people during various stages and circumstances.
For his part, His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah reaffirmed Kuwait's commitment to supporting the Yemeni people and their legitimate leadership in overcoming the current crisis and achieving their aspirations for security, stability, and peace.
From the Yemeni side, the meeting was attended by Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi, Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Dr. Shai'a Al-Zindani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Major General Mahmoud Al-Subaihi and Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Mekhlafi, Advisors to the President of the Presidential Leadership Council and Mr. Loai Al-Eryani, Yemen's Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany.
From the Kuwaiti side, the meeting included His Highness Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Khaled Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, Undersecretary for Financial, Administrative, and Communication Affairs at the Prime Minister’s Office, Assistant Ministers of Foreign Affairs Bader Saleh Al-Taneeb and Sadiq Mohammed Al-Ma'rafi, and Her Highness Ambassador Reem Mohammed Al-Khaled, Kuwait’s Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany.
