The President of the Presidential Leadership Council will participate in side events at the conference, providing briefings on the humanitarian and economic repercussions of the crisis, as well as the Council and government’s vision for achieving comprehensive and lasting peace in Yemen and the region. This vision aims to strengthen the role of UN member states and their capabilities in deterring terrorist threats to maritime freedom and addressing their catastrophic consequences at various levels.

Additionally, the President will present updates on the local situation, including the economic and humanitarian crisis exacerbated by Houthi terrorist attacks on oil facilities and shipping vessels.
