President Al- Alimi receives the Egyptian Ambassador to Yemen
Riyadh :
President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, received today, Monday, the Egyptian ambassador to Yemen, Ahmed Farouk, to discuss bilateral relations, developments in the local situation, and efforts to establish peace and stability in Yemen.
In the meeting, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries, Egypt's role in supporting the council and the government, its firm stance on the side of the Yemeni people, and its aspirations to restore state institutions and to end the coup of the Iran- backed Houthi militia.
The meeting was attended by Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi, and the Counselor at the Egyptian Embassy, Mohammed Al-Arian.
