
President of the Leadership Council Meets with the Legal Team
Riyadh
His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, met today, Wednesday, with the legal team supporting the Presidential Leadership Council.
During the meeting, the President was briefed by the head of the team, Judge Hamoud Al-Hittar, and members of the legal team on their working mechanism and the accomplishments achieved during the past period within the framework of the tasks and responsibilities assigned to them under the Declaration of Power Transfer.
The briefing also included the team’s work plans and future activities as a reference legal advisory body to support the completion of the requirements of the transitional phase.
His Excellency the President updated the legal team on the latest developments in local affairs, including coordinated measures with various entities to strengthen political consensus opposing the Houthi terrorist militias backed by the Iranian regime. Furthermore, His Excellency provided updates on efforts to implement the economic rescue plan, advance financial and administrative reforms, activate oversight mechanisms, combat corruption, and enhance the principles of integrity, transparency, and governance. These efforts aim to fulfill the aspirations of all Yemenis in restoring state institutions and achieving sustainable peace and stability.
The meeting was attended by Major General Saleh Al-Maqaleh, Director of the Office of the President of the Presidential Leadership Council.
