President Al-Alimi Congratulates General Joseph Aoun on His Election as Lebanon’s New President

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency General Joseph Aoun, congratulating him on his election as the President of the brotherly Republic of Lebanon.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council, on behalf of himself, the council members, and the government, expressed his sincere congratulations to President Joseph Aoun on his election as the new President of Lebanon. Furthermore, His Excellency extended wishes for President Aoun’s success, good health, and happiness, and for the brotherly Lebanese people, to achieve stability, peace, and development.
