President Al-Alimi meets with military and security committee

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, met today, Monday with the joint security and military committee formed under the Transfer of Power Declaration.
The President of the Presidential Leadership Council listened to a new report from Major General Haitham Qassem Taher, Head of the Joint Security and Military Committee, along with the committee's deputy and members. The report covered the committee's course of action, the necessary measures to implement its recommendations, and achieve the objective of integrating the armed forces as stipulated in the Transfer of Power Declaration.
The President of the Presidential Leadership Council commended the achievements of the Joint Security and Military Committee during its previous term. Additionally, His Excellency praised the committee’s recommendations aimed at upholding the rule of law, enhancing the capabilities of the armed forces and security services, and improving the conditions of personnel at all levels.
His Excellency the President reiterated the full support of the Presidential Leadership Council for the Joint Security and Military Committee to effectively complete its tasks mandated by its formation decision.
The meeting was attended by Major General Ahmed Al-Oqili, Director of the Office of the Supreme Commander.
