President AL- Alimi Receives UAE’S Ambassador To Yemen

Today, Monday, His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, received, Mr. Mohamed Hamad Al Zaabi, the UAE Ambassador to Yemen.

The meeting touched upon bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples, and  the promising prospects for strengthening such relations in various fields.

The president of the Presidential Leadership Council briefed the Emirati  ambassador on latest national developments, in addition to the required support to improve living conditions, and  promote economic and service reforms at all levels.

President Al- Alimi praised the distinguished bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples. Moreover, His Excellency praised UAE’ leading role within the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen. Additionally the president highlighted UAE's economic, humanitarian, and development interventions aimed at alleviating Yemeni people’s suffering and achieving their aspirations for restoring State institutions, stability, development, and peace.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi, Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic.
