President Al-Alimi holds meeting with Security Committee in Taiz

His Excellency President Dr. Rashd Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces along with Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi and Sheikh Othman Mujalli, the Members of the PLC, held  a meeting with the Security Committee in Taiz Governorate. The meeting was held in presence of Lieutenant General Mahmoud Al-Subaihi, the President's Advisor for security and Defense Affairs, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, the Minister of Interior, and Mr. Nabil Shamsan, Governor of Taiz Governorate, Chairman of the Security Committee.

The President and the two PLC’s  members were briefed by Governor of Taiz and security and military commanders on the situations in the governorate and approved plans to improve performance of the security forces. In addition they were briefed on the needed support to improve the roles in keeping public stability and enforcing the role of law.

President Al-Alimi praised efforts of the armed forces and security in Taiz and their great sacrifices in countering Houthi terrorist militia's attacks. Furthermore the president praised their efforts in ‏thwarting and pursuing the Militias’ terrorist cells and the terrorist elements collaborating with them.

The meeting was attended by Major General Ahmed Al-Aqili, the Director of the Office of the Supreme Commander.
