President Al-Alimi praises role of Kuwait and its charitable institutions in alleviating suffering of Yemenis

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, received today, Thursday, at Maashiq Palace in the interim capital, Aden, Dr. Saud Ali Al-Hajri, the Chairman of the Elaaf Charity Association, and his accompanying delegation, who is currently visiting Yemen. The visit has come to determine the priorities of humanitarian support and urgent interventions in the service, health, educational, agricultural and development aspects.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council listened to a briefing by the Kuwaiti delegation on the results of its field visits to a number of governorates, and the facilities required to implement the Association's projects, starting with opening a permanent office for it in Aden.

During the meeting, the President welcomed the Kuwaiti delegation, which also briefed His Excellency on the activities and programs of the Elaaf Charity Association in Yemen, including the launch of the second free Elaaf medical camp in the city of Aden with the participation of an elite group of doctors and specialists in cancer surgery.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the role of Elaaf Association as one of the most prominent sponsors of charitable and humanitarian work inside and outside Kuwait. As well as the efforts of Kuwaiti associations, financing institutions and charitable organizations in rehabilitating services in Yemen and alleviating the human suffering caused by the terrorist Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime.

His Excellency the President also praised the honorable positions of the State of Kuwait, its generous humanitarian and development interventions, and its sincere support for the aspirations of the Yemeni people and their political leadership in various stages and circumstances, leading to its active role within the coalition to support legitimacy led by the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Ali Mansour bin Safaa, the Yemeni Ambassador to the State of Kuwait.
