President Al-Alimi meets representatives of political parties and components in Hadhramaut
Al Mukalla
His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, along with sheikh Othman Mujali, the member of the Council, met today, Tuesday, at the Republican Palace in Mukalla city representatives of political parties and components, in the presence of Mr. Mabkhout bin Madi, Governor of Hadhramout.
The President of the Presidential Leadership Council expressed his happiness and the member of the Council to meet with representatives of the parties and political components who represent the main pillar of the broad national alliance against the Iranian Imamate project in Yemen and the region.
His Excellency the President briefed the representatives of the political parties and components on the developments and the most prominent achievements of the Presidential Leadership Council since its formation pursuant to the announcement of the transfer of power. He noted that the cohesion of the existing national consensus within the framework of the Presidential Leadership Council is one of the most important gains of the stage.
In this context, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council pointed to the improvement of the security situation in the interim capital Aden, Hadhramout Governorate, and the rest of the liberated governorates, the state's continued fulfillment of its inevitable obligations, including the regular payment of employee salaries and securing the requirements of commodity imports, with generous support from our brothers in the countries of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
The President of the Presidential Leadership Council also spoke about what the Council has achieved in reactivating the judiciary, proceeding with the procedures for unifying and integrating the armed and security forces, and activating the role of the Supreme Security Committee.
He pointed to the Council's efforts in the efficient management of peace entitlements, strengthening distinguished relations with the leadership of the Coalition and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and improving the state's position in possessing deterrent means, including the economic package policy that included the decisions of the Central Bank of Yemen to protect the banking sector and combat money laundering.
His Excellency stressed that the legitimate government still has many pressure tools in its pocket.
The President of the Presidential Leadership Council considered that these periodic meetings with the political components are one of the indicators of improvement in the integrating relations between the components of legitimacy and their national project.
His Excellency touched upon the peace efforts and the initiatives presented by the Presidential Leadership Council and the government in this regard, noting that the militias have obstructed all the efforts led by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the regional and international communities. The militias have gone to drag the country into proxy wars with the entire world, including their terrorist attacks against shipping vessels and international shipping lines. He said that although most of the articles of the roadmap have been circulated in the media, the militias are still practicing a misleading approach regarding its contents.
His Excellency explained that the roadmap begins with a ceasefire, economic and humanitarian measures to build confidence in the first phase. In the second phase, it is assumed to go to a Yemeni dialogue to formulate the foundations of a new transitional period as a third phase.
The President of the Leadership Council pointed to the dominance of mostly frustrating narratives in discussions related to the Council's position on regional and international mediation efforts to reduce economic escalation, after the Houthi militias went to the option of shuffling the cards in the region at the behest of the Iranian regime.
He pointed out that the militia is still in a state of confusion and trying to find new pretexts to blackmail the world and militarize the country, including the unilateral announcement of flights to new destinations before the approval of the concerned countries.
His Excellency the President expressed his hope for the continued cohesion of all political components for the sake of Hadhramaut, its development and stability, because it is the appropriate environment to demonstrate the competitiveness of the national forces' programs to improve the living conditions of citizens.
In the meeting, sheikh Othman Mujli, member of the Presidential Leadership Council presented evidence of the fateful intellectual and military battle against the terrorist Houthi militias, which has removed all doubt that they are not a peace project with the Yemeni people.
Mujli called on the political components to fortify the internal front and preserve Hadhramaut's civility and its usual peacefulness, and to learn the lesson from the scenes of destruction left by the Houthi pandemic across the country.
