The speech of His Excellency the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council in the Sharm El-Sheikh Climate Implementation Summit (SCIS), November 7, 2022

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful

Dear brother, His Excellency President / Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt,

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,

Your Highnesses, Excellencies,

Ladies and Gentlemen

May the peace, blessings, and mercy of Allah be upon you ,,

 

It is my pleasure to share with you today this meeting on the occasion of launching the Green Middle East initiative, which is an active contribution from the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.. to reduce the heat of our planet.. and the negative effects of climate change. This initiative, which represents a platform for regional cooperation, to enhance the preservation of the Vegetarianism cover and support international and regional efforts, which aim to create opportunities for inter-cooperation that transcend borders and enhance opportunities for peace and development among the peoples of the region.

Ladies and Gentlemen/

I am confident that this initiative will enhance cooperation opportunities to build bridges of relations with all relevant international organizations. It also will be a platform for transferring expertise and experience, to protect the environment, and will work to encourage innovation and implement nature-based solutions, to reduce land degradation and contribute to achieving sustainable development goals.

 

At the national level, we hope that this initiative will help our country to rehabilitate the biological and plant diversity systems in the lands, forests and the green sector, which were deteriorated as a result of the war waged by the terrorist militias supported by the Iranian regime. Those militia who burned the land by planting hundreds of thousands of land and sea mines. Trees were cut down and people were displaced, which put additional pressure on biodiversity in general and plant diversity in particular.

 

Today we congratulate our brothers in Egypt for the success of the climate summit, and we also congratulate our brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the launch of this initiative in its second edition.This calls us to be proud that our Arab countries now have the initiative to make effective contributions that contribute to the recovery of the planet.

 

In conclusion, I wish all success to the initiative and the achievement of its goals. I am confident that this initiative is originally a success initiative and will continue to be that because it represents peace, security, love and growth. 

 

Tree is a symbol of life and peace, we will work together with the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the rest of the peoples of the region to make this important initiative a success as a model of cooperation and inter-human work.

May God help us all for what is good for our countries, peoples and humanity.
