PRESIDENT AL- ALIMI RECEIVES UAE’S AMBASSADOR TO YEMEN

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, received today, Monday , Mr. Mohamed Hamad Al Zaabi, UAE Ambassador to Yemen.
The meeting touched upon bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples, and the promising prospects for strengthening such relations in various fields.
The president of the Presidential Leadership Council briefed the Emirati ambassador, on the latest developments in the Yemeni situation, in addition to the required support to enhance the economic and financial position, improve key services, and advance comprehensive reforms in the country.
President Al- Alimi praised the distinguished bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries. Moreover, he praised UAE’ leading role within the Saudi- led Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen to restore State institutions, and achieve stability, peace, and development.
The president commended UAE's humanitarian interventions aimed at alleviating Yemeni people’s suffering, including UAE's development programs in the field of renewable energy. The first project of the development programs is to operate at its generating capacity in the interim capital Aden, next month.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi, Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic.
