President Al- Alimireceives members of The Baha’i community

  Brussels:

Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad Al -Alimi, received Thursday at his residence in the Belgian capital Brussels, representatives of the Yemeni Baha'i community who were neglected by The Iran-backed Houthi militia.

 

President Al- Alimi highly welcomed the members of the Baha'i community, stressing the Council and the government keenness on ensuring fundamental rights and freedoms. guaranteed by the constitution, , the laws and relevant references, taking into account the interests of citizens from different backgrounds.

 

The meeting touched upon the developments in the local scene , in addition to the egregious violations committed by the terrorist Houthi militia against Yemeniwomen , children, activists and journalists.

 

The meeting also discussed government commitments in terms of reparation, overcoming the effects of the past, and ‏international community's role in punishing ‏Huthi militias and their Iranian supporters.
