President Al-Alimi Receives ‏Bahrain's Foreign Minister in Aden

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) along with the PLC's members Aidarous al-Zubaidi and Abdul Rahman al-Mahrami received today, Thursday, at al-Ma'shiq Palace in Aden Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani, Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the Bahraini Foreign Minister conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to His Excellency the President and their wishes of abundant health and happiness to the president and the members of the PLC, . In addition the Bahraini king and his crown prince wished Yemeni people security, stability, and peace.

For his part , the president of the Presidential Leadership Council, asked Minister Al-Ziyani, to convey his own and the Council members’s greetings to the Bahraini leadership. President Al-Alimi wished the Bahraini leadership abundant  health and well-being, and  the brotherly Bahraini people further progress and prosperity.

President Al-Alimi  welcomed the Bahraini Minister in the interim capital Aden. The president praised Yemeni-Bahraini distinguished bilateral relations, and the great political support provided by the brotherly Kingdom of Bahrain within ‏the Coalition to Support Legitimacy to the Yemeni people and their legitimate leadership in various regional and international forums.

The meeting touched upon latest developments in the Yemeni situation, the common positions of the two brotherly countries on regional developments, and the challenges facing international peace and security.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council commended the efforts made by the brotherly Kingdom of Bahrain, king , government, and people, to ensure the success of the 33rd Arab Summit. He stressed that the Summit’s  success serves the interests of the Arab nation and enhances its collective role in facing all challenges.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi, Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Dr. Shaya'e bin Mohsen Al-Zindani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Sheikh Ali bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Yemen and Saudi Arabia, and a number of officials in Bahrain’s  Foreign Ministry.
