
President Al-Alimi receives credentials of Ambassador of Bahrain in Aden

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, received today, Thursday, at Maashiq Presidential Palace in the interim capital Aden, the credentials of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Yemen, Sheikh Ali bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa. The Bahraini Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to President Al-Alimi , and their wishes for stability, peace, and development to the Yemeni people.
Following that, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council met with the newly appointed Bahraini Ambassador, to discuss distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries, latest developments in the Yemeni situation, and regional issues of mutual interest.
President Al-Alimi welcomed the newly appointed Bahraini Ambassador, stressing that the Council will provide Ambassador Ali Al Khalifa with all the needed facilities and support to carry out his duties in serving the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples to the fullest.
The ceremony of receiving the credentials and the meeting were attended by Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi, Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Dr. Shaya'e bin Mohsen Al-Zindani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, and Mr.Mohammed Haj Mahfouz the Head of Presidential Protocol and Ceremonies.
