President Al-Alimi Meets with Official, Political, and Popular Leaders in Ma'rib

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, along with Council members , Sultan Al-Arada, Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi, and Othman Mujalli, met with official, political, and popular leaders in Ma'rib Governorate.

The meeting included local authorities, deputy ministers, scholars, and leaders of parties, political organizations, and popular resistance, in addition to sheikhs, dignitaries, and social figures from Ma'rib Governorate and Houthi- controlled governorates.

During the meeting, President Al-Alimi commended the national positions of the people of Ma'rib and Ma'rib’s residents from all governorates. The president also praised the great sacrifices made by the people of Marib in the fateful national battle that the great Yemeni people are fighting to defend the revolution, the republic, protect national gains, and fight against the Iranian ambitions and dreams of expanding in Yemen and the region.

His Excellency expressed his appreciation for those honorable national stances that will be written on the pages of history with golden ink and will always proudly be remembered by future generations. These positions are the culmination of struggles of the people of Ma'rib, and a tribute to the  great sacrifices they made since the dawn of the immortal Yemeni revolution in various stages of the national struggle.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council, on his own behalf the Council members, and the government, commended the efforts of the brothers in the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, in support of Yemeni people to defend their national gains and alleviate their humanitarian suffering caused by the Iran- backed Houthi terrorist militias.

His Excellency stressed that Ma'rib Governorate is the main gateway to victory in the sacred national battle to restore state institutions and liberate the capital, Sana'a, and all Yemeni territories from the control of the Houthi terrorist militia. This can only be achieved through the unity and  integration of Ma'rib, the cohesiveness of all Ma'rib’s  political and social components, its tribal leaders’ support for constitutional legitimacy, in addition to embracing the national project for all Yemenis and the popular resistance against the Iran- backed Houthi rebellion and coup from the very beginning. The President stressed the importance of strengthening the home front as it stands as the rock on which all challenges are shattered.

In a separate meeting with the people of Al-Jawf Governorate, His Excellency the President praised the response of the people of Al-Jawf to the tribal reconciliation initiative, which will serve as a nucleus for a comprehensive reconciliation among all tribes in Saba’( Sheba)  district.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council also praised the leading role of the people of Al-Jawf and  all Yemeni  governorates, in fighting against the Iran- backed Imamate Houthi project.

His Excellency stressed the importance of cohesiveness and integrity to facing the imminent threats posed to Yemenis by the Houthi militias and the interworking terrorist organizations.
