His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, along with Council members Sultan Al-Arada, Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi, and Othman Majali, held an expanded military meeting that included Lieutenant General Saghir bin Aziz, the Chief of the General Staff, Commander of Joint Operations, heads of bodies, and Ministry of Defense departments, a number of commanders of military regions and security leaders in Ma’rib Governorate.

The meeting held a minute of mourning for the souls of the martyrs of the armed forces, security and popular resistance, all military and security formations, and all those who paid their lives for the sake of freedom and the republican system, and all those who died at the hands of the Houthi terror machine supported by the Iranian regime.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council and members of the Council were briefed by the Chief of the General Staff on a report about the situation of the Armed Forces, what they have achieved in aspects of training and qualification and their high combat readiness at the tactical and strategic levels.

The report included a summary of the operational situation throughout the theater of operations, where the heads of military bodies and regions presented presentations on the achievements of the armed forces at the level of operations, training, qualification, logistical support, manpower, and military specializations.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the high discipline and combat readiness of the armed and security forces, praising the heroism of the army men and the popular resistance during the past years on various battle fronts against the terrorist Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime.

His Excellency the President affirmed his pride, along with his fellow members of the Council, of every soldier, officer, non-commissioned officer, and resistance fighter in all combat locations. He said: “This force, which over the past years has been fighting a sacred battle for the sake of the Republic and the state, is the safety valve of the nation, and its sacrifices will yield a decisive victory, with God’s help.”

He added, "Ma'rib and everyone in Ma’rib is the hope today, just as it was hope in the beginning when it rejected and resisted the Imamate project supported by the Iranian regime."

The President of the Leadership Council noted the great development achieved by the Ministry of Defense and the Chief of Staff in raising the level of efficiency of fighters and supplying the army with a qualified human element, stressing the redoubling of efforts to develop all sectors.

He said, "The Houthi militia has proven that it is not a serious partner for peacemaking, but rather takes talking about peace as a kind of deception and preparation for new wars, which necessitates working with all effort and readiness to impose the desired peace."

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council confirmed that the Council is in complete agreement on national issues, and will spare no effort in providing the needs of the army and fighters stationed on various fronts.

His Excellency the President praised the efforts of the security forces in Ma’rib Governorate in enhancing security and stability, combating terrorism, and thwarting the attempts of the terrorist Houthi militias to target the internal front and destabilize the security and stability of the governorate.

The meeting was attended by Major General Saleh Al-Maqaleh, the Director of the Office of the President of the Presidential Leadership Council.
