President Al-Alimi confirms commitment of PLC and government to give Aden the distinguished position it deserves

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, expressed his great pride in the national epics performed by the men and women of Aden. Those epics which were with the honorable support of the brothers in the Coalition to Support Legitimacy led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, in order to liberate the city from the grip of the terrorist Houthi militias 9 years ago.

His Excellency, the President wrote in a blog post on “X” platform on the occasion of the ninth anniversary of the liberation of Aden, “Talking about this resistance city is talking about the dream of the first pioneers, and about the national and cultural movement that accomplished the revolution, the state and its civil institutions.”

He added, "Today we are concerned with exchanging this love with a more steadfast love, to work together to put Aden in the position it deserves as an incubator for the state project and the interim capital of the country."
