President Al- Alimi praises UAE’s development interventions in renewable energy

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, received today, Monday, Mr. Mohammed Hamad Al-Zaabi, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Yemen.

In the meeting, the Emirati Ambassador conveyed to President al- Alimi the greetings of his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and his wishes of abundant health and happiness to His Excellency and to the Yemeni people, security, stability, and peace

For his part, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, asked Ambassador Al Zaabi to convey his greetings and the members of the Council to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan,  wishing him good health and happiness , and to the brotherly Emirati people all progress and prosperity.

The meeting touched upon bilateral relations between the two countries, the two brotherly peoples, and the promising prospects for strengthening them in various fields.

The meeting also touched on developments in the Yemeni situation and the joint efforts to coordinate positions on current challenges at all levels.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the distinguished bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries. He also praised UAE's role within Saudi-led  coalition to support legitimacy aiming at restoring Yemeni state’s institutions, security, peace, and development.

President Al- Alimi praised UAE’s  humanitarian interventions to alleviate Yemeni people’s  suffering, including its development projects in the field of renewable energy that will come into service this month, in addition to UAE’s  fuel shipments to run power plants in Aden and liberated governorates.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi, Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic.
