President Al- Alimi made telephone calls to Hadramaut Governor and National Junior Football Team Mission

His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, made his directions on Monday for providing the required support and facilities for a successful National Junior Football Team mission’s  participation in West Asian Union Championship, which kicks off next week in the Sultanate of Oman.

This came during a telephone conversation between the President of the Presidential Leadership Council and Mabkhoot bin Mubarak bin Madhi, governor of   Hadhramout as  the city of Mukalla is holding a training camp for the  National Junior Football Team in preparation for the upcoming Asian Championship, on 11th to 20th December. 

His Excellency the President emphasized the State's keenness to take care of the youth and empower them to develop their skills and to represent their country honorably in all forums and sports events.

President al- Alimi also spoke to the National Junior Team Mission expressing his confidence in the true sportsmanship shown by Yemen's young footballers in various competitions and their ability to bring joy to Yemenis’ hearts  at home and abroad.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the support provided by the local authority in Hadramaut to host the National Junior Football Team. He also commended the role of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Yemen Football Association, the coaching staff, and the football players, for playing in such an honorable great way despite the difficult circumstances the country has been experiencing since the Houthi militias' coup against national consensus with the support of the Iranian regime.
