President receives a letter from the Chinese President

Today, Sunday, His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, received a letter from His Excellency President Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, related to bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to strengthen and develop them in various fields.

In his letter, which was delivered by Chargé d'Affairs of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China Shao Zheng, President Jinping affirmed Chinese support for the Presidential Leadership Council to perform its duties and play the constructive role in restoring peace and stability in Yemen.

The Chinese President also affirmed Beijing's commitment to supporting Yemen's sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity.

For his part, His Excellency the President, asked the Chinese Chargé d'Affaires to convey his greetings and his wishes of good health and happiness to President Xi Jinping, and to the friendly Chinese people further progress and prosperity.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the distinguished bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and peoples, expressing his confidence that these relations will witness further prosperity and development during the coming period.

His Excellency the President also praised the firm Chinese position, leadership and government in various regional and international forums alongside the Yemeni people, its political leadership, and its aspirations to restore state institutions, security and stability, and end the human suffering caused by the Houthi militias backed by the Iranian regime.

The meeting was attended by Major General Saleh Al-Maqaleh, the Director of the Office of the President of the Presidential Leadership Council.
