President Al-Alimi Participates Alongside Heads of State and Government in Djiboutian President’s Inauguration Ceremony

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, accompanied by Council Member Lieutenant General Mahmoud Al-Subaihi, participated today, Saturday, in the inauguration ceremony of His Excellency President Ismail Omar Guelleh, President of the Republic of Djibouti, who was re-elected for a new presidential term.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from 35 countries, including heads of state, prime ministers, and regional and international delegations.

President Al-Alimi extended his sincere congratulations to President Ismail Omar Guelleh on winning the confidence of the brotherly Djiboutian people and taking the constitutional oath of office. He praised President Guelleh’s wise leadership and his active role in strengthening Djibouti’s position as a model of stability in a turbulent regional environment.

The President affirmed that his participation in the inauguration ceremony reflects the special bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and the Yemeni leadership’s commitment to advancing them toward broader horizons. He also stressed the importance of close coordination at all levels to confront current challenges and safeguard collective security in the region.
