President Al-Alimi Commends Armed Forces’ Readiness and Heroic Steadfastness on Frontlines of Honor and Dignity

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, conducted two telephone calls with Lieutenant General Taher Al-Auqili, the Minister of Defense, and Lieutenant General Sagheer bin Aziz, the Chief of the General Staff, to assess the readiness of the armed forces. He also extended his congratulations to their personnel across various fronts on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.

The President commended the steadfastness and heroic resilience demonstrated by members of the armed forces. He praised the national sacrifices and epic achievements they have made in confronting the Houthi terrorist militias. He underscored the pivotal role of these sacrifices in deterring the Iranian-backed destabilization project and thwarting its expansionist ambitions.

President Al-Alimi was briefed by the Minister of Defense and the Chief of Staff on the field situation, the level of combat readiness, and the morale of troops across different theaters of operation. He expressed appreciation for their high vigilance, military discipline, and strong sense of national responsibility displayed by armed forces personnel on all fronts.

The President affirmed the leadership’s full recognition of the honorable role played by the armed forces in countering threats and safeguarding national gains. He expressed his firm confidence that the patience, resilience, and sacrifices of these heroes will lead to an imminent  victory, with God’s will.

He also reiterated the state’s commitment to the sacrifices of the armed forces and its commitment to caring for the wounded and the families of martyrs, in appreciation of their great contributions in defending the republican system, national constants, and Yemen’s security, stability, and future.

Furthermore, the President praised the sincere and fraternal role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, highlighting its continued support for the Yemeni people, their legitimate leadership, and national institutions, as well as its efforts to help achieve security, stability, and peace.
