President of Presidential Council Directs Official Mourning Ceremony Following the Death of Veteran National Figure Ali Salem al-Beidh

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, has directed that official mourning measures be observed following the death of the veteran national figure Ali Salem al-Beidh, former Vice President of the Presidential Council.
A source at the Presidency stated that the directives include dispatching a high-level official delegation representing the President, the Presidential Leadership Council, and the government to offer condolences to the family of the deceased. As well as, the directives include opening condolence registers domestically and at Yemeni embassies and diplomatic missions abroad.
The source added that the directives also stipulate the transfer of the late al-Beidh’s remains and his burial with official ceremony in his hometown in Hadhramaut Governorate, in accordance with his will and in a manner befitting his political and national stature.
In a telephone call with the family of the late al-Beidh, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, on behalf of himself, the Council members, and the government, renewed his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy. His Excellency praised the deceased’s distinguished record of service and his pivotal political contributions during critical phases of the nation’s history.
