President Al-Alimi Awards Former Heads of Political and National Security Services with Medal of Courage

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, today, Saturday, honored Lt. Gen. Abdo Mohammed Al-Hudhaifi and Lt. Gen. Ahmed Abdullah Al-Masabi by awarding them the Medal of Courage. They were honored in recognition and appreciation of their efforts and distinguished national service during their tenure as heads of the Political Security Organization and the National Security Service.
The President praised the sincere efforts of the two generals, Al-Hudhaifi and Al-Masabi, in safeguarding the state’s sovereignty and national gains, thwarting the plots of the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia and the extremist organizations aligned with it, as well as confronting their cross-border threats.
The President of the Presidential Leadership Council also commended the contributions of the former heads of the Political Security and National Security services in developing the security establishment and intelligence apparatus. He also praised their efforts in strengthening the services’ role in protecting national security and the country’s supreme interests.
The ceremony was attended by Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Al-Subaihi, the President’s Advisor for Defense and Security Affairs, Lt. Gen. Mohsen Al-Daari, Minister of Defense, and Maj. Gen. Nour Al-Din Al-Yami, who received the medal on behalf of Lt. Gen. Al-Hudhaifi.
