President al- Alimi checks in on the Yemeni community in Sudan

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, inspected today, Saturday, the situation of the Yemeni community in the sisterly Republic of Sudan.
The Chairman of the Presidential Council listened to a phone briefing by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Ahmed Awad Bin Mubarak, on the situation of the Yemeni community in Sudan and the government actions taken to secure them in light of developments witnessed by the brotherly country."
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council directed to redouble efforts and to continuously monitor the situation to ensure the security and safety of the Yemeni community in Sudan, in addition to providing them with all possible care.
Bin Mubarak reviewed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates’ efforts in coordination with the embassy in Khartoum, to develop necessary solutions and arrangements to ensure the security of the community and the operations carried out to transfer a number of families and students to safer places .
In this context, the Minister of Foreign Affairs also referred to the formation of a crisis cell to monitor the situation around the clock, examine proposals and make urgent recommendations and work to implement them in order to serve the Yemeni community in Sudan.
