The Council reviewed reports submitted by the government and specialized committees on several national issues listed on its agenda.
Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Buraik presented a report on the implementation of Presidential Leadership Council Resolution No. (10) of 2025. The report covered progress on economic and pricing reforms, measures to strengthen the management of public resources, control spending, improve services, and alleviate the humanitarian crisis caused by the Iran-backed Houthi militia.
The Council reaffirmed its full support for the government and the Central Bank in continuing structural reforms and intensifying efforts to achieve financial and monetary stability. It stressed the importance of transparency and accountability to ensure the regular payment of public sector salaries, improve public services, and strengthen confidence with international donors.
The Council highly valued the continued fraternal support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. It particularly commended recent agreements signed between the Government and the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) to support the state budget, supply fuel for power stations, and enhance the institutional capacity of the Ministry of Interior.
The Council noted that these sincere stances from the coalition partners represent a continuation of their leading role in supporting the Yemeni people, the national economy, and efforts to establish security, stability, and development across the country.
The Council also reviewed the latest developments in several governorates and adopted a series of measures and recommendations to improve institutional performance. It emphasized stronger coordination between central and local authorities and the mobilization of all available resources to serve citizens and advance peace, stability, and the restoration of state institutions.
