President al-Alimi lays foundation stone of Al-Ghaidha Power Station

  GHAIDHA:

President of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi laid foundation stone of Al-Ghaidha Power Station with generating output of 40 MW, in the presence of the Deputy Chairmen of the Shura Council, Dr. Abdullah Abu Al-Ghaith, and Engineer Wahy Aman, as well as the Governor of Al Mahrah Governorate, Mohammed Ali Yasser.

His Excellency was received at the project site by the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Salem Neimer, and a number of officials of the local authority. The strategic project will address the electricity and energy crisis in the city of Al-Ghaydah and its vicinities, alleviate suffering of citizens and encourage commercial activity in the Province of Al-Mahra.

His Excellency the President was accompanied by the Director of the Office of the President of the Presidential Council, Major General Saleh Al-Maqalih, the Minister of Education, Dr. Tareq Al-Akbari, and the Minister of Public Works and Roads, Engineer Salem Al-Aboudi.
