President Al-Alimi Affirms Resistance Has Foiled Houthi Project and Crushed Their Dark Ambitions

His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, affirmed that the resistance to the project of the so-called new Imamate, represented by the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia, has had the upper hand in every city and village. He said this resistance has shattered the militia’s dark ambitions across the country.

In his address to the nation on the 63rd anniversary of the September 26 Revolution, delivered on his behalf by PLC Member Sheikh Othman Mujalli, President Al-Alimi reiterated that there will be no return to clerical rule. He stressed that the false doctrine of divine right has no place in a homeland whose people have sworn to uphold freedom, dignity, and sovereignty for the nation alone.

The President said that, after eleven years of this heinous coup marked by killings and grave violations, the resilience of the Yemeni people has stood firm. He noted that this steadfastness heralds victory, deliverance, and the restoration of the Republic and state sovereignty. He added that a generation born under the Republic will inevitably grow up under its promise, with a brighter future inspired by the glow of September and the spirit of its free revolutionaries.

He added, “As we have repeatedly said, this war ignited by the sectarian terrorist Houthi militia, with the support of the Iranian regime, is a losing battle. It is a confrontation between right and wrong, freedom and servitude, the Republic and the Imamate, the past and a radiant future."

The President said the Presidential Leadership Council has renewed its pledge this month to work with teamwork and collective responsibility. He stressed that national partnership remains the safeguard for resilience against the new Imamate and for a certain victory, God willing.
