President Al-Alimi Receives Senior Vice President of U.S. Hunt Oil Company

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, along with Council Member Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi, received today in New York Mr. Igor Salazar senior vice president of US Hunt Oil Company.
The meeting discussed prospects for partnership between the Yemeni government and Hunt Oil in the fields of exploration, production, and export of oil and gas.
His Excellency the President was briefed on Hunt Oil Company’s activities and its future plans to resume investment and production operations in Yemen.
The President praised the role of the American company in developing Yemen’s oil sector over past decades, affirming the government’s commitment to providing all forms of support and facilitation for oil and mineral companies and investments in the country.
