President Al-Alimi Checks On Conditions Of Yemeni Pilgrims

His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, made a phone call to the Minister of Endowments and Guidance, Dr. Mohammed Shabiba, to check on the conditions of Yemeni pilgrims and to congratulate them on completing the ritual of standing at the sacred plain of Arafat, the greatest pillar of Hajj, along with the rest of the pilgrims at the Holy House.

His Excellency the President listened to a briefing from the Minister of Endowments and Guidance regarding the situation of the pilgrims, who began this evening their departure from Mount Arafat to Muzdalifah to spend the night there, following the tradition of the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him), before heading to Mina after the dawn prayer on Eid al-Adha to perform the stoning of Jamrat al-Aqabah and to sacrifice the hadiy (sacrificial animal).

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council urged the Hajj mission to exert all efforts and provide complete facilitation and care for the Yemeni pilgrims until their safe return to the homeland. He prayed to Almighty God to grant them success in completing the remaining rites of Hajj and to accept their obedience and good deeds.

His Excellency the President also praised the efforts of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, for the success of the Hajj season and for mobilizing all resources to serve the guests of the Merciful, ensuring their care and the smooth and safe performance of their pilgrimage rites.
