President of the Presidential Leadership Council receives Sheikh Abdullah Al Afrar

  Al Ghaydah:

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, received today, Friday, Sheikh Abdullah bin Issa Al Afrar, in the Republican Palace in Al-Ghaydah city.

In the meeting, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the unique political and cultural diversity in Al-Mahra Governorate, which represents a living embodiment of the values of coexistence and societal harmony that the people of the governorate have been known for throughout the ages.

His Excellency the President encouraged all local forces to continue this inspiring approach to peace, to distance their governorate from any tensions, disagreements, or political polarizations that make social differences, and to devote themselves to its development, reconstruction, and the interest and welfare of its people.

In his speech, the President touched on the tourism, investment potentials that Al-Mahra Governorate abounds in, and the required support for its local authority in various fields.

The meeting was attended by the Director of the Office of the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Major General Saleh Al-Maqaleh.
