President Al-Alimi receives the American Ambassador to Yemen

  Riyadh:

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, received today, Sunday, Ambassador of the United States to the Republic of Yemen Steven Fagin.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ‏ means of enhancing and developing them in different fields.

The meeting also touched upon Yemeni government's reforms to improve basic services, living conditions, maintain the economic and monetary stability, the required support to bolster the reforms, in addition to the latest regional and international efforts to renew the truce and revive the political process amid the Iran-backed Houthi militias' intransigence. 

The meeting was attended by Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi.
