President Al-Alimi Affirms the State’s Responsibility to Fulfill Its Economic and Service Commitments

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, met today, Sunday, with Mr. Mohammed Al-Ghaithi, the Chairman of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission (CRC), along with his deputies: Abdul Malik Al-Makhlafi, Sakhr Al-Wajeeh, Jamila Ali Raja, and Akram Al-Amiri.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council was briefed by the Chairman and Deputy Chairmen of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission on the Commission’s work over the past period and its future programs aimed at continuing to implement its designated tasks under the declaration of the transfer of power.

The President praised CRC’s efforts and its supportive role for the Council. Furthermore, he reiterated the state's commitment to enhancing the Commission's active presence in building trust among all national components.

President Al-Alimi updated the Chairman of the CRC on the latest local developments and the priorities of the current phase. This includes the need to mobilize all resources to address economic challenges and ensure essential services for citizens, particularly before the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, while keeping the restoration of state institutions as a top priority.

The President emphasized the state’s full responsibility to fulfill its commitments to alleviate citizens’ suffering and mitigate the impact of the Houthi terrorist attacks on oil facilities, which have been a major factor in worsening the humanitarian crisis across the country.

His Excellency reaffirmed the implementation of the Presidential Leadership Council’s decisions regarding the return of all state institutions to operate from within the country and to fully assume their constitutional responsibilities and duties.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi, Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic.
