President Al-Alimi receives US envoy for Yemen

President of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, along with Member of the Council Aidrus Al-Zubaidi, received Thursday, US Envoy for Yemen Tim Lenderking on the sidelines of the meetings of United Nations General Assembly.
The meeting discussed latest developments in Yemen and efforts of brothers in Saudi Arabia and Oman for renewing the UN truce and reviving the political process, which has been hindered since Houthi militia's coup against the national consensus on 21 of September 2014.
The meeting touched upon presidential and governmental reforms and international needed support to improve services and people living conditions. They also discussed the measures taken to mitigate the repercussions of Houthi terrorist attacks on oil facilities and international shipping lanes.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi, Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mohammed Al-Hadhrami, Yemen's Ambassador to the United States.
