President of the Presidential Leadership Council meets with the German Chancellor

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, participated today in the reception ceremony held by the Federal Republic of Germany on the 50th anniversary of its membership in the United Nations, at the invitation of Federal Chancellor Olaf Schulz.

During the event, which was held in conjunction with the meetings of the seventy-eighth session of the United Nations General Assembly, which begins its work today, Tuesday, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, on behalf of himself, the members of the Council and the government, expressed to Chancellor Olaf Schulz his sincere congratulations to the Republic of Germany and its friendly people on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of its membership in the United Nations. He stressed the support of the Republic of Yemen for the German request to obtain a permanent seat in the Security Council.
