Minister of Interior Sends Congratulations to President Al-Alimi on Advent of Holy Month of Ramadan

Major General Ibrahim Haydan, the Minister of Interior, sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, as well as to the members of the Presidential Leadership Council, on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.

The cable stated:

"I would like, on behalf of the leadership, officers, and personnel of the Ministry of Interior, to extend to Your Excellency my sincerest congratulations and best wishes on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. This month, filled with goodness, blessings, and forgiveness, is when the Quran was revealed as guidance for humanity. May Allah restore it to Your Excellency, to our country and the entire Arab and Islamic nation with goodness, prosperity, and blessings."

In his cable , the Minister of Interior emphasized that the holy month of Ramadan embodies profound spiritual and ethical values that enhance trust and the capacity to achieve noble aspirations in serving the country and the great Yemeni people. He highlighted the importance of ensuring security and stability while fostering a spirit of love, tolerance, and solidarity to confront the challenges threatening the nation's safety, particularly the danger posed by Iranian-backed militias.

Minister Haydan pointed out that the security forces will remain vigilant guardians and a steadfast bulwark for the protection of national security and stability. They will stand firm against anyone who attempts to undermine security and disturb public tranquility and social peace. 

He noted that the Houthi militias, since their disastrous coup against legitimate authority and the republican system, have caused significant harm to the security and stability of Yemen and the region. This has strengthened the resolve and determination to confront this threat and eliminate it, ensuring the security of Yemen, the region, and the world.

The Minister concluded his cable with a prayer to Allah to restore this holy month to Yemen with peace, security, and stability. He paid tribute to the souls of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the homeland, wishing for a swift recovery for the injured. He affirmed that the security forces will exert their utmost efforts to maintain civil and social peace across all liberated governorates.
