President of the Presidential Leadership Council issues decisions to promote and settle the conditions of more than 52,000 employees, dismissed from their jobs in the Southern Governorates

Today, Monday, Decree No. (42) of 2023 of the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces was issued, approving the decisions of the Committee for Handling the Cases of Employees Deported from their Jobs in the Civil, Security and Military Fields, in the Southern Governorates, formed by Presidential Decree No. (2) of 2013.
The President of the Presidential Leadership Council, the Republic of Yemen, - Having considered the Constitution of the Republic of Yemen, -Law No. (67) for 1992 regarding service in the armed forces; -The Civil Service Law No. (19) for 1991, -The Police Authority Law No. (15) for 2000, - The Republican Decree by Law No. (25) for 1991 regarding insurance and pensions, -The Republican Decree by Law No. (33) for 1992, regarding pensions and rewards for the armed and security forces and its amendments, − Law No. (43) for 2005 regarding the system of jobs, wages and salaries, -The initiative of the Gulf Cooperation Council and its executive mechanism on 11/23/2011, and the outcomes of the Comprehensive National Dialogue Conference, − The Presidential Decree No. (2) for 2013 regarding the establishment of a committee to deal with cases of employees dismissed from their jobs in the civil, security and military fields in the southern governorates, and its amendments,
− The decision (announcement) of the transfer of power and the formation of the Presidential Leadership Council issued on April 7, 2022, − Based on the presentation of the Committee for Handling with the cases of employees deported from their jobs in the civil, security and military fields in the southern governorates, and the recommendations made therefrom.

Article (1): The decisions of the Committee for Handling the Cases of Employees Deported from their Jobs in the Security and Military Fields in the Southern Governorates regarding Retirees and Absent Employees: Non-commissioned, Officers and Soldiers of the Armed, Interior and Political Security Forces shall be approved for return to service, promotion, settlement and referral to retirement according to the attached lists of names and in accordance with the following decisions of the Committee: 1- Committee Decision No. (3) for (9008 ) nine thousand and eight non-commissioned officers and Officers from the Armed, Interior and Political Security Forces. 2- Committee Decision No. (5) for (6460 ) six thousand four hundred and sixty non-commissioned officers and armed forces personnel. 3-Committee Decision No. (9) for (10514 ) ten thousand five hundred and fourteen absent Armed, Interior and Political Security Forces. 2- Committee Decision No. (12) for (4193) four thousand one hundred and ninety-three martyrs and deceased of the Armed, Interior and Political Security Forces. Article (2): The decisions of the Committee for Handling the Cases of Employees Deported from their Civil Service Jobs in the Southern Governorates for Retirees and Absent Employees are approved for return to service and settlement according to the lists with the attached names and according to the following abstracts: 1- Committee aDecision No. (4) for (4135) four thousand one hundred and thirty five civil early retirement. 2- Committee Decision No. (7) for (9000 )nine thousand civil absent. 3- Committee Decision No. (8) for (3200) three thousand two hundred civil early retirement. Article (3): The government shall take the executive measures for the decisions adopted by virtue of this decision, each in the field of its competence. Article (4): This decision shall be enforced from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
