During the meeting, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council expressed his appreciation, along with his fellow members of the Council and the government, to the leadership of the local authority and the directors of the executive offices for their efforts in overcoming the existing difficulties, especially since the oil facilities stopped exporting due to the Houthi terrorist attacks that caused the loss of about 70% of the state's public resources.

The President of the Leadership Council also extended his great thanks to the people of Hadhramaut for their interaction and support for the local authority, as a model to be emulated for a society of coexistence and respect for order and law.

The President of the Leadership Council presented the efforts of the Council and the government to overcome the effects of the intertwined challenges and transform them into promising opportunities for self-reliance, and to make the best use of the support of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the donor community.

In this context, His Excellency the President noted the generous development and humanitarian interventions in Hadhramaut Governorate by the countries of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, along with service projects supported by the government and local authority, despite the funding crisis created by the terrorist Houthi militias with the support of the Iranian regime.

His Excellency the President urged the leadership of the local authority to continue its broad partnerships with all political and societal forces and components, saying: "Positive differences and diversity of opinions are a positive entry point to correcting work paths, activating oversight, and the rule of law.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council stressed that security and stability are the main incentive to attract investors, and that Hadhramout Governorate, with its loyal men, must make the private sector a real bridge for the transformation industry towards comprehensive development.

He added, "This goal would not be easy to achieve without activating the judiciary and law enforcement agencies to reassure national capital."

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council urged the revenue offices to double their efforts to compensate for the deficit in local authority resources, while adhering to the laws in force at the central and local levels.

In the meeting, Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi, member of the Presidential Leadership Council, spoke about the importance of the state leadership's visits to Hadhramout Governorate, which deserves all attention as it has provided a model of stability, coexistence, openness and preservation of state institutions.

He stressed the importance of focusing on the priorities of providing services to citizens, strengthening state institutions, and urging the government and local authorities to work to follow up and implement the matrix of service and public issues for the governorate. The matrix that the government has prepared, including service and investment needs and facilities for the private sector to attract capital, and secure the work of international organizations and humanitarian relief agencies.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi said, "The legitimate government coalition is today at its best and stands on solid ground in the face of one opponent, the terrorist Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime." Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi stressed the importance of the governorate to overcoming any internal differences and establishing the principle of transparency, integrity and combating corruption, accommodating everyone, avoiding the exclusion of any political components within the framework of legitimacy, and strengthening the status and role of Hadhramaut, which is ruled and managed today by its people.

For his part, Sheikh Othman Mujli, member of the Presidential Leadership Council, praised the status that Hadhramout Governorate has immortalized in the national memory as a safe haven for thousands of displaced individuals during the ongoing confrontation with the terrorist Houthi militias and their destructive project.

Mujli noted the Hadrami society model based on family integration in accommodating others, not engaging in extremism and terrorism projects, strengthening their presence in building the state and the national economy, and protecting their children against misleading narratives from the terrorist Houthi militias.

He pointed out the importance of drawing inspiration from the virtues of the people of Hadhramout in building state institutions, clean urban cities, and presenting their governorate as a model of security and peace.

Sheikh Othman Mujli stressed that the Presidential Leadership Council is fully aware of the intentions of the Houthi militias and their terrorist behavior, and that the Council's keenness to calm things down comes within the framework of giving the regional and international community an opportunity to revive the path of comprehensive and just peace in accordance with its announced references.
