President AL-Alimi Along With Council Member, Aidarous AL-ZUBAIDI And Crowds Of Citizens Perform Eid AL-Adha Prayer

Today, Sunday, His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, president of the Presidential Leadership Council, along with council member Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, senior State leaders  and a large number of worshipers performed Eid Al-Adha prayer  in the interim capital, Aden.

The president of the Presidential Leadership Council and the Council member, along with state leaders, listened to the Eid sermon delivered by the Advisor to the Minister of Endowments and Guidance, Sheikh Sabri Fartout, who spoke about the importance of Eid al-Adha in Islam as these days are the most blessed days for Allah. In addition, he referred to the divine meanings this blessed religious occasion ‏of the month of Dhul Hijjah embodies. He pointed out that in this blessed religious occasion Allah has made Eid for Muslims to show their unity and reject dissent and division.

The Eid preacher stressed the importance of drawing lessons from such blessed days to promote nation’s  cohesion and unity, advise each other to be true and patient, and Help one another in righteousness and piety. In light of the humanitarian disaster caused by the Houthi militias, proxy of the Iranian regime.

The Eid sermon criticized the practices of the Houthi terrorist militias to politicize Hajj by launching their false sectarian slogans. In their false sectarian slogans, Houthis call to worship other than Allah the Almighty, in a unifying and holy divine ritual, in which only the name of the Almighty should be mentioned.

The Eid preacher praised the great efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in facilitating performing Hajj to ‏pilgrims, starting from land and air ports until they arrive to the holy mosque.

The Eid sermon also praised the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in supporting Yemen and its people, deterring the Iran- backed Houthi terrorist militias, and driving them out of the interim capital, Aden and the rest of the country's governorates.

After that, His Excellency, accompanied by council member Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, received a large crowd of congratulating citizens, state officials, government members, military and security commanders, women's and community figures.

Following that, President Al-Alimi and council member Aidarous Al-Zubaidi exchanged congratulations on Eid Al-Adha with the crowd of citizens and congratulating leaders, praying to the Almighty to return this holy religious occasion with goodness and prosperity. They prayed to bring peace, security, and stability to our country and to the whole Muslim world, and to protect all our peoples from harm and evil.
