President Al-Alimi leaves Aden on special leave

A source at the Office of the Presidency of the Republic said that His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, left the interim capital, Aden, today, Friday, on a special leave that will last for a cable of days.
During the recent period, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council led a presidential program full of intensive meetings and gatherings with the leaders and authorities of the central and local state. The goal of the program was to advance comprehensive reforms and improve the level of executive performance, in accordance with the decisions and directives of the Council and the priorities of this stage.
His Excellency the President also was briefed by the relevant officials on the measures taken to secure services, goods and basic needs provided to citizens, and to limit the repercussions of severe inflation and price fluctuations. Which were exacerbated by the Houthi militia’s terrorist attacks on oil installations and commercial ships in regional and international waters with the support of the Iranian regime.
