President appoints Commander for the second Military Region and advisor to the Minister of Defense

Today, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, issued Decree No. (188) of 2023, regarding the appointment of commander for the second military region .

The first article stipulated the appointment of Brigadier General/ Talib Abdullah Saeed Bargash as commander  for the second military region and to be promoted to major general.

In addition , the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, issued Decree No (189) of 2023, regarding the appointment of advisor to the Minister of Defense.

The  first Article  stipulated the appointment  of Major General Fayez Mansour Saeed Qahtan as an advisor to the Minister of Defense.

The second and final article stipulated that the two decrees shall be implemented as of the date of their issuance, and shall be published in the Official Gazette and military bulletins.
