President receives credentials of the ambassadors of South Africa, Poland, Korea, the United Kingdom and France

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, received, today, Wednesday, at the Ma’ashiq Palace in the interim capital of Aden, the credentials of Mogobo David Mugabe, the non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa to Yemen and Robert Rutsek, the non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Yemen.
His Excellency also received the credentials of Do Bong Ki, the Resident Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Yemen, Abdo Sharif, the Resident Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Yemen and Catherine Corm Kammoun, the Resident Ambassador of the Republic of France to Yemen.
In separate meetings, the ambassadors accredited to the Republic of Yemen conveyed the greetings of their countries’ leaders to the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, and their wishes of good health and happiness for him and for the Yemeni people security, stability and peace.
For his part, His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, welcomed the new ambassadors, and urged them to convey his greetings and those of the Council members to the leadership of their countries, stressing the provision of all facilities and support to represent their countries and serve bilateral relations to the fullest.
The President of the Presidential Leadership Council touched on the dangerous Israeli escalation in the Gaza Strip and its repercussions on security and stability in the region. He pointed out to the role required from the international community to stop the bloodshed, achieve the aspirations of the Palestinian people and establish their independent state on the basis of international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
His Excellency renewed the position of the Republic of Yemen in rejecting the liquidation of the just Palestinian cause, and condemning the brutal attacks and forced displacement of the population, which would threaten the lives of millions of Palestinian civilians.
The President affirmed the keenness of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to provide all facilities and support to the new ambassadors, diplomatic missions and bodies, institutions and international agencies, and to secure their services, humanitarian and development interventions in the various governorates.
The President of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the strong and distinguished relations between the Republic of Yemen and the United Kingdom, the Republic of France, Korea, Poland, and South Africa, and the firm positions of the five friendly countries alongside the Yemeni people, their political leadership, and their aspirations to restore state institutions and end the coup of the Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime.
His Excellency briefed the new ambassadors on the developments of the situation on the Yemeni scene, including developments in the peace efforts led by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman. He pointed out to the international pressures required to push the Houthi militias to deal seriously with these efforts and give priority to the interests of the Yemeni people, over the interests of their Iranians leaders and supporters.
The reception of the credentials ceremony and the meetings were attended by Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi, the Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak , the Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, and Mohammed Haj Mahfouz the Head of Presidential Protocol and Ceremonies.
