President Al-Alimi Receives Reply Message from Emir of Qatar

President Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), received a written message from His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, in reply to an earlier message from President Al-Alimi. The message addressed the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and the latest developments in Yemen.

In his message, the Qatari Emir expressed his appreciation for the historic ties and relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples. He also affirmed Qatar’s keenness to strengthen and develop these relations in various fields in a manner that serves their shared interests.

His Highness Sheikh Tamim reaffirmed Qatar’s support for the Republic of Yemen and its causes, as well as its continued support for efforts to achieve peace and stability in Yemen. He also affirmed his support for efforts to preserve Yemen’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and fulfill the aspirations of the Yemeni people for security, stability, and development.
