PLC President Announces Launch of “Dawn of Yemen” Operation to Restore State Institutions and Liberate Capital Sana’a

President Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, announced today, Monday, the launch of the “Dawn of Yemen” operation. It aims to restore state institutions, liberate the capital, Sana’a, and end the coup by the terrorist Houthi militias.

In a post on X, President Al-Alimi said: “With God’s blessing, the ‘Dawn of Yemen’ operation has been launched to restore state institutions, liberate the capital, Sana’a, and end the coup by the terrorist Houthi militias.”

“With God’s help, the will of our people, the valor of our armed forces and all military formations, and the support of our brothers and friends, Yemen will move toward a new dawn of freedom, peace, and stability,” he added.

On Sunday, President Al-Alimi announced the launch of military operations to restore the remaining territory of the Republic, extend the authority of the state and its institutions across the entire national territory. It also aimed to move from the phase of preparation and readiness to the phase of liberation.

His Excellency directed the armed forces, security forces, and all military formations to carry out their missions in accordance with the approved plans.
