Presidential Decree Appointing Military Adviser to Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces

Today, President of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, issued Presidential Decree No. (195) of 2026.
Article One of the decree stipulates the appointment of Major General Staff Hashim Abdullah Hussein Al-Ahmar as Military Adviser to the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and his promotion to the rank of Lieutenant General.
Article Two stipulates that the decree shall enter into force as of the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette and military bulletins.
