President Al-Alimi Offers Condolences on Passing of Former Minister of Health

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to the family of former Minister of Health Dr. Awad Abdullah Bamatraf. The late doctor passed away after a lifetime of dedicated service to his country and contributions to the welfare and progress of his people.

On behalf of himself, the members of the Presidential Leadership Council, and the Government, President Al-Alimi expressed his profound sorrow and sincere condolences to Dr. Bamatraf’s family over this painful loss. He praised the deceased’s distinguished virtues and notable national contributions to serving the health sector and developing its institutions.

Dr. Bamatraf held numerous senior positions throughout his career, including Minister of Health, Deputy Minister of Public Health and Population, and Director of the Health and Population Office in Hadhramaut Governorate. He also served as a leading physician at several health facilities and chaired the General Authority for the Development and Improvement of Yemeni Islands.

His Excellency the President stressed that with the passing of Dr. Bamatraf, the nation has lost one of its loyal sons, who left a distinguished mark throughout his long professional career.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to bestow His vast mercy and forgiveness upon the deceased and inspire his family and loved ones with patience and solace.
