Republican Decree Issues Limited Cabinet Reshuffle in Dr. Al-Zandani’s Government

A republican decree was issued today, Thursday, introducing a limited cabinet reshuffle in the government headed by Prime Minister Dr. Shaea Al-Zandani.
The text of the decree reads as follows:
President of the Presidential Leadership Council:
Pursuant to:
- the Constitution of the Republic of Yemen;
- the Gulf Cooperation Council Initiative and its Implementation Mechanism, signed on November 23, 2011;
- the Declaration of the Transfer of Power, Decision No. (9) of 2022, and the decision issued on April 7, 2022, establishing the Presidential Leadership Council; - Law No. (3) of 2004 concerning the Cabinet;
- Republican Decree No. (3) of 2026 concerning the formation of the government and the appointment of its members;
And upon the proposal of the Prime Minister and the approval of the Presidential Leadership Council, hereby decrees:
Article (1): The following are appointed to the positions indicated opposite their names:
- Eng. Badr Mohammed Mubarak Basalama – Minister of Planning and International Cooperation.
- Dr. Afrah Abdulaziz Al-Zouba – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
- Dr. Ahd Mohammed Salem Jaasous – Minister of Local Administration.
Article (2): This decree shall enter into force from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
