Presidential Decree Appoints Adviser to PLC President for Defense and Security Affairs

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, today issued Presidential Decree No. (125) of 2026.

Article One of the decree stipulates the appointment of Major General Ahmed Abdullah Ali Turki as Adviser to the President of the Presidential Leadership Council for Defense and Security Affairs, with promotion to the rank of Lieutenant General.

Article Two provides that the decree shall take effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette and military bulletins.
